The primary duties of this position will be to create designdrawings and figures independently under broad direction from a ProjectEngineer or Project Manager on various water/ wastewater projects.Technician will perform non-routine and complex drafting assignments requiringapplication of standardized electronic drafting techniques. Technician isexpected to work independently with occasional advice from supervisor.Position requires knowledge of procedures for the production of designdevelopment and construction documents for water/ wastewater andinfrastructure projects.*LI-MB1QualificationsRequired Qualifications* Associates in Engineering Technology / CAD or equivalent experience.* 2-5 years of civil design drafting experience is preferred.* Proficiency using AutoCAD to create design drawings and details followingCAD standards is required.* Proficiency using AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit, Navisworks and/or AutodeskInfrastructure would be a plus* Strong computer skills using Microsoft Office and Adobe products.* Experience developing plans and design schematic figures for treatmentfacilities, pumping stations, storage facilities, and related publicworks infrastructure projects would be a plus.* Attention to detail and organizational skills are required.* Strong ability to follow written and oral instruction is required* Excellent oral and written communication/documentation skills are required.Why HDRAt HDR, we know work isn't only about who you work for; it'salso about what you do and how you do it.
