Job Description SummaryThe User Experience (UX) Researcher analyzes and reports on user-centered design research and usability testing for digital products. Identifies user needs and goals, tasks, workflow modeling, and user role developments including rapid iterative usability testing. Author, schedule, and moderate usability tests in concert with product stakeholders.
Rapidly synthesize data and share findings with the product team
Acts as a ‘repository’ of research-based usability knowledge
Work with product stakeholders to test business requirements using heuristic/qualitative methods
Work with digital designers to ideate design solutions based on research findings
Educate stakeholders on the importance of UX research
Educate team members on the use of new tools
Support in the design and implementation of research processes
Bachelor’s degree in psychology, industrial engineering, human-computer interaction, human factors, or equivalent experience. Will consider alternate degrees with on-the-job training or completion of a UX research based post-graduate program.
Solid background in usability moderating (e.g. digital one-on-one engagement with WebEx, Usertesting.com, User Zoom), participant recruiting/screener creation, experimental design, test method selection, debriefing, facilitation, and statistical/qualitative/quantitative analysis
Self-starter able to manage multiple research projects and assist teammates through research
Strong communication skills to conduct interviews and create/deliver written and oral presentations.
In-depth understanding of user research methods and trends in web, digital product, and app design.
Experience using Sketch, Adobe CC

The Salary for this position generally ranges between $ 69,825 - $114,975 . This range is an estimate, based on potential employee qualifications, operational needs and other considerations permitted by law. The range may vary above and below the stated amounts, as permitted by Colorado Equal Pay Transparency Rule 4.1.2.
This position is also typically eligible for an Annual Bonus based on the Company Bonus Plan/Individual Performance and is at Company Discretion at a rate of 10%.
