Aboveall, we believe that collaboration is the best way forward.HDR Engineering is looking for a Transmission Line Project Engineer to joinour growing and nationally ranked team of Power Delivery professionals in ourDenver, CO office.The primary duties of the Project Engineer include responsibility forknowledge and execution of the technical aspects and deliverables of projectsassigned and is an experienced, competent engineer who generally understandsand can complete all technical requirements of transmission line projects ofbasic to moderate complexity. The Project Engineer will assign tasks andprovide guidance to junior team members and coordinate QC reviews for workperformed by junior level engineers and/or designers. The Project Engineerwill also be responsible for quality control reviews of projects from otherteams on an as needed basis. The Project Engineer works independently and maydirect, mentor, train, and/or supervise efforts of less-experiencedEIT's and/or Designers.Tasks may include:Conducting PLS-CADD analyses to develop design optionsPerforming PLS-CADD modeling and/or calculationsAssisting with preparing cost estimates or specificationsPerform routine engineering and design tasksParticipate in field reviews or construction observation.Perform other duties as assigned.QualificationsRequired QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Engineering required (Civil, Electrical, orMechanical Engineering preferred).P.E. License required.4+ years of related experience..Experience using PLS-CADD, structure analysis, project cost estimates,plan and profile preparation, optimization, specifications and drawings,and other engineering documents required for power transmission line projectsNational Electrical Safety Code (NESC) knowledge is desiredProficient with Microsoft Office.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Previous experience with an architectural/engineering or engineeringconsulting firm desired.An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of ouremployee-owned culture is a must.Some field work and travel may be required.Desire to train, mentor, and develop younger staffPreferred Qualifications:Preference will be given to local candidates.Benefits and Compensation:We provide a comprehensive benefits package that promotes employeeownership, employee health, performance, and success;...
