Aboveall, we believe that collaboration is the best way forward.Primary ResponsibilitiesThe primary duties of Transmission EIT position, for recent graduates or newhires with little to no previous power delivery experience, are to performengineering tasks with varying levels of complexity, which are assigned by aProject Engineer or Project Manager. The EIT may work independently on smalltasks and may assist senior engineers on larger, more complex projects.Tasks may include:* Conducting analyses to develop design options* Performing modeling and/or calculations* Assisting with preparing cost estimates or specifications* Perform routine engineering and design tasks* Participate in field reviews or construction observation.QualificationsRequired Qualifications* Bachelor's Degree in Engineering required.* 0 years of transmission line design experience preferred.* Engineer in Training (EIT) preferred.* Proficient with Microsoft Office.* Strong written and verbal communication skills.* Previous experience with an architectural/engineering or engineeringconsulting firm desired.* An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of ouremployee-owned culture is a must.* Some travel may be required.Preferred Qualifications: * Experience using PLS-CADD, structure analysis, project costestimates, plan and profile preparation, optimization, specificationsand drawings, and other engineering documents required for powertransmission line projects.* Preference will be given to local candidates.#LI-MB2Why HDRAt HDR, we know work isn't only about who you work for; it'salso about what you do and how you do it.
