WSP is currently initiating a search for a Rail & Transit Engineer to support Rail & Transit projects in our Denver, CO office..

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Development and design of horizontal and vertical track alignments for rail and transit projects that may include high-speed, commuter, LRT, and freight rail

  • Lead track design tasks for feasibility and planning studies, conceptual and final design

  • Support development of capital cost estimates for rail & transit projects

  • Provide design reviews

  • Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering

  • Minimum 10 years of railroad and/or transit industry track design experience

  • Microstation CAD experience

  • Demonstrated verbal/oral skills

  • Professional registration

Preferred Qualifications

  • Quality Control / Quality Assurance experience

  • Texas PE license, or ability to obtain within 1 year

  • Microstation InRoads experience
