Merrick & Company Technical Quality and Design Services (TQDS) Leader in Denver, Colorado
Technical Quality and Design Services (TQDS) Leader
Introduction
Merrick & Company is seeking a Technical Quality and Design Services (TQDS) Leader for our Infrastructure team in Denver, CO, which would include limited travel to other Merrick offices in Colorado to support the growing practice. The TQDS Leader will have a portfolio of projects for which they have final responsibility for delivering (sealing). Within that portfolio, they will be responsible for design team goals, key success factors, team roles, internal communications, subcontract coordination, quality control, drawing and specification production, and timelines.
The TQDS Leader must have unique capabilities in water infrastructure design, quality control, standards development, planning and design process optimization, and technical delivery mentorship. The TQDS Leader will critically review approaches, initiate refinements, and oversee the upgrading of standard methods. participating in technical committees with potential clients.
The TQDS Leader will provide technical mentorship and design advisement for a team of 4-12 project engineers. This will include facilitating technical professional development discussions and supporting staff as they implement their development plans. Part of the role involves identifying and creating opportunities for project engineering staff to both strengthen and diversify their skill base.
