We are looking for a passionate technical product leader with extensive experience connecting product
development execution with business goals to lead our Lab and Cyber Range platform offering. The ideal candidate
must have experience building and developing both people and teams. The Technical Product Manager will work
closely with stakeholders across the organization to ensure that results are delivering business value. The ability to
nurture a collaborative environment consistent with SANS culture is critical, as is experience with how cross

Delivering against strategic priorities as they pertain to our lab and range offerings.
Coordinating with the curriculum and business teams to define user acceptance criteria for stories / tasks.
Leading backlog refinement sessions with the development team to refine ticketed work and ensure it isready for the team to plan into a sprint.
Ensuring that work satisfies the User Acceptance Criteria for tickets and accepting work as done.
Leading regular Sprint Review meetings in partnership with the Product Manager, presenting the work theteam has completed and soliciting feedback from business and technical stakeholders.
Creating and maintaining a product roadmap in partnership with curriculum and business groups.
Participating in agile team meetings as appropriate and actively engaging in team efforts towardcontinuous improvement.
Identifying and encouraging areas for growth and improvement within the team.
Instilling cultural consistent values in how the team operates.
Other duties as assigned.
Experience and Qualifications
12+ years of experience managing and developing people and teams.
Prior experience in a technical leadership position.
BS or MS in Computer Science, related field, or equivalent industry experience preferred.
Strong initiative to find ways to improve solutions, systems, and processes.
Experience working with product and connecting solutions to customers and business value.
Experience working with Agile software practices or Lean principles.
In‐depth understanding of modern coding, infrastructure as code, and DevOps practices.
Familiarity with the cyber security space.
