Matrix Design Group, Inc. is actively seeking both office, and fieldSurvey Technicians to join our team in our Denver office.Summary:Responsible for collecting field data and taking land measurements to createsurvey maps.ORResponsible for assisting Matrix Design Group's (MDG) Survey Division inthe processing and verification of survey data, preparation of surveydrawings, as-builts and construction stakeout deliverables, as well ascreating subdivision plats, Records of Survey, Land Survey Plats and ALTASurveEssential Functions: Platting of recorded surveys, maps, and deliverables such as (butnot limited to): ALTA, Land Survey Plats, Legal Descriptions,Location Certificates, and Exhibits, etc. Support and assist in creating construction-staking point files,alignments, and plots for civil construction projects. Review, edit, import/export, and reduce field notes and data forCivil, Structural, and Environmental Engineering Groups at MDG in aneffective, timely, and accurate manner. Establish and maintain cross-sector relationships within MDG's groups,clients, colleagues, and municipal representatives. Maintain and produce scheduling and coordination of projects including:deadlines, project tasks, and other work activities; providing theseestimates and updates to Project Managers/Division leads. Boundary analysis, calculations, and research. Create stakeout information and provisional boundary calculations. Support and maintain field crew schedules, required information and datafor field crew's success. Maintain and uphold relationships with clients, colleagues, andmunicipal representatives with positive and professional attitude. Assist Land Survey Manager in planning, scheduling, and projected budgets. Maintain client confidentiality and professional standards required of theland surveying and engineering professions.Competencies: Team player with the ability to build cooperation and innovation invalue-based group. Comprehensive understanding of AutoCAD Civil 3D and Microsoft Office Ability to take direction and work independently. Ability to read plans and understand boundary, topographic, civilconstruction, and control diagrams and design. Excellent written and verbal communications skills. Self-starter and leader. Working knowledge Trimble equipment and Trimble Business Center. Knowledge of ALTA surveys, boundary analysis, topographic surveys,preparation of easement documents, legal descriptions, final platpreparation, and construction staking.Education and Experience: High School Diploma or GED. Minimum of five (5) years of surveying experience. Professional Land Surveyor Licensure preferred. Experience with Trimble equipment and software preferred. Experience using AutoCAD Civil 3D to prepare boundary maps, topographicmaps and construction support. Valid driver's license, in conjunction with successfully passing theCompany's MVR screening (mandatory).
