We are looking for a strong leader to join our team; one who inspires loyalty and commitment and understands how to design and deliver leading-edge bridge projects. In this role, you will lead a group of 10+ engineers/designers, coordinate staff assignments and provide technical design guidance, from concept to completion. Your success in this role, means moving up to a regional role in our esteemed Bridge Technical Organization. Projects include a variety of structures - including segmental, prestressed concrete, cable supported, and steel for use in bridge, light-rail, high-speed rail, vehicular, or pedestrian applications.
Leads technical tasks and provides technical training to engineering staff within Parsons bridge engineering practice area.
Reviews work produced to ensure that applicable codes, standards, and procedures are followed, and quality is acceptable.
Monitors productivity and technical proficiency of assigned personnel. Makes staffing assignments and reassignments as project needs arise.
Conducts performance evaluations, takes corrective action as necessary, recommends promotions and salary actions, and recommends training and development for assigned personnel.
Define discipline design organization and participation on a project, including scope of work, design criteria, schedules, standards, and procedures.
Determines budget estimates and staffing requirements for the defined scope and schedule.
Supervises the production of project drawings and design calculations.
BS degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (or related field) with structural emphasis
Master's Degree highly preferred.
15+ years of related work experience in bridge engineering
Professional Engineering (PE or SE) license is required
Experience with Colorado DOT desirable, but any state experience is acceptable
Proven ability to perform in a supervisory capacity
Design-Build pursuit and/or project experience required
