Oracle Senior Sales Consultant in Denver, Colorado

Provides direction and specialist knowledge in applying the technology/application to client business. Facilitation of customer product/application understanding through presentations demonstrations and benchmarks; provision of support throughout the sell.

As a Senior Sales Consultant you will be responsible for providing presales technical / functional support to prospective clients and customers while ensuring customer satisfaction with minimal supervision. Acts as a technical resource for less experienced Sales Consultants. Develop and deliver high quality standard Oracle presentations and demonstrations. Present and articulate advanced product features and benefits, product future direction and overall Oracle solutions. Design, validate, and present Oracle software solutions to include advanced product concepts, future direction, and 3rd party complimentary products. Develop and manage reference sites through high quality technical, professional client relationships.

Job duties are varied and complex, needing independent judgment. May have project lead role. 5 years vendor (sales and marketing) experience. 5 years relevant computer applications or database/tools. Demonstrated proficiency in one multi-user operating system. Through knowledge of system and application design. Strong verbal and written communication skills: needs analysis, positioning, business justification, closing techniques. Demonstrated ability to solve complex technical problems with accounts in complex technical environments. Ability to travel as needed. BS degree or equivalent; advanced degree desirable.

Oracle CX Senior Solution Engineer - US Nationwide

Oracle is the world s leading Cloud SaaS provider and is moving aggressively to gain market share. As part of the Oracle Solution Engineering team, you ll be selling into the biggest companies. You will work with the sales team to work with customers to leverage and expand their Oracle application investments.

A Senior Solution Engineer must be able to create compelling solutions and value for the customer.

Role Overview:

We are looking for an individual who has experience with application solutions, in particular around the SaaS Cloud solutions. As an acknowledged authority, this Senior-Level Solution Engineer professional has a breadth of knowledge and understanding of solutions, industry best practices, multiple business processes or technology designs across multiple product families. Collaborates with the multi-pillar sales team to design innovative solutions that have industry-wide impact.

This person s role will be that of a solution engineer working with a team of sales reps focusing on some of our most strategic Majors Oracle accounts. They will be paired with sales representatives and focus on deal strategies and complex solutions.

This will include driving requirements gathering, helping with qualifying opportunities, assisting with RFP/Proposal efforts, creating win themes, coordinating pre-sales resources, delivering presentations and demonstrations at various levels up to and including the C level, as well as other selling events.

Responsibilities:

Provide direction and specialist knowledge in applying Oracle solutions to client business challenges.

Facilitation of customer solution understanding through meetings, presentations, and demonstrations throughout the sales cycle.

As a Senior Solution Engineer, you will be responsible as the expert for formulating and leading presales functional support activity to prospective clients and customers while ensuring customer satisfaction.

Acts as a resource and mentor for less experienced Solution Engineers.

Focuses on large or complex sales opportunities that need creative and complex solutions. Develops productivity tools and training for other Solution Engineers.

Develops and delivers outstanding Oracle presentations and demonstrations. Leads any and all aspects of the sales process.

Advises internal and external clients on overall architect solutions.

Skills:

Preferred candidates have 5 years business experience in software applications.

Professional experience in a Pre-Sales/Sales Consulting.

Ability to demonstrate the newest and most advanced product features. Maintain an in-depth knowledge of competitors.

An understanding of Cloud-based SaaS solutions is desired

Possess strong project management skills

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Innovative and Memorable presentation techniques

Positive, can do attitude

Experience with Digital & Virtual presentations, techniques and tools

Ability to persuade others through presentations, demonstrations, and written communication

Ability to travel as needed.

A/BS degree or equivalent, advanced degree highly desirable.
