Help us to build a better planet.Wenck is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer with an emphasis in solid waste tobuild a legacy through developing client relations and building a strong teamof technical professionals. This position is located in our Denver, Coloradooffice. This Senior Civil Engineer will be responsible for management ofclient and staff relations as well as for project and staff performance. TheSenior Civil Engineer will be responsible for business development, forleading, managing and team building, and for supporting and managing solidwaste design and construction related services.Our company prides itself on providing employees a workplace that allows themto thrive in an environment with excellent compensation and benefit packages.We are always looking for exceptional business partners.Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required: Bachelor s degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical, Engineering, orequivalentColorado Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain in six monthsNebraska Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain in six monthsMinimum of 7 years of progressive civil engineering design experience with anemphasis in solid waste.Proficiency in spoken and written English, with the ability to interact withproject teams as well as clients, including representing clients duringpublic meetings and events.Preferred experience in working with the Colorado Department of Public Healthand Environment, local communities and government jurisdictions.Knowledge of applicable waste management legislation including environmentalassessment requirements and the approvals application processProven knowledge and skills of AutoCAD Civil 3D, Microsoft Word, Excel,PowerPoint, and Outlook.Possess a valid driver s license.Entrepreneurial, self-motivated, hard-working, and enjoys learning. Responsibilities:Execute public outreach, branding efforts, marketing and clientcommunications.Position the company for regional growth in our engineering market andadditional Wenck services.Lead, coordinate and delegate; proposal, contract, administration andproject management efforts (experience in Deltek CRM a plus)Responsible charge and direct supervision over professional and technicalstaff.Manage multiple projects in developing plan sets, specifications,budgets, schedules to exceed our clients expectations.Collaboration with other company internal groups and disciplines andsub-consultants.Professional engineering design and project oversight including QualityAssurance and Quality Control.Travel for multiple days on occasion for meetings and to support project teamsin other offices and construction oversight.
