Concrete Frame Associates Safety Specialist (New Graduate) - Denver, CO in Denver, Colorado

Pre-construction value engineering services tothe owner, architect, engineer and contractor makes CFA a welcome memberof the construction team.Primary ResponsibilitiesControls hazardous working conditions and unsafe employee activities thoughinterface with project management/supervisory personnel.Conducts regular walk through safety inspections of construction areas todetermine compliance with company rules and regulation.Completes reports of inspections in a timely manner documenting any noteddeficiencies and follow up to ensure corrective action.Conducts staff and craft safety training to advance safety awareness andunderstanding in accordance with both the Company and Customer's safetyprograms.Investigates any accident, incident and near miss occurring on the jobsiteand completes all required documentation on a timely basis.Maintains safety records, including training records, OSHA log, tool boxtalks, and incident investigations and metrics.Monitor Return to Work and Modified duty assignments.Performs special projects and completes all other duties as assigned orrequested for the general support of the organizationMinimum QualificationsBachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or relateddegree, and 6 months of work experience successfully supporting similarprimary responsibilities meeting and exceeding performance expectations.Current OSHA 30 Hour or 10 Hour Certification.Basic knowledge of construction safety work rules and relevant OSHArequirements and regulations.Basic understanding of state Workers Compensation laws and reportingrequirements.Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook).Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability tocommunicate effectively with all levels of the organization, as well as withcustomers and vendors.Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.Ability to travel and work for extended period of time on projects outside ofoffice area.Applications submitted without a resume will not be considered.Concrete Frame Associates is an Equal Opportunity Employer.Qualified candidates will be considered without regard to race, sex,disability, veteran status, sexual orientation or gender identity.Concrete Frame Associates is an Equal Opportunity and Affirmative ActionEmployer.Qualified candidates will be considered without regard to race, sex,disability, veteran status, sexual orientation or gender identity.
