Verizon Quality Assurance Engineer in Denver, Colorado
What you’ll be doing...
You will lead the charge for quality, helping mobile and back-end engineers deliver only their best throughout the software development process. This includes:
Performing manual testing and acceptance of features and hotfixes.
Development and implementation of functional and regression test suites.
Collaborating with product owners and engineers to help refine scope and define acceptance criteria.
Triage incoming feedback, logging defects and potential go-backs in a way that is clear and actionable to engineers.
Work with product owners to properly assess defect severity and priority.
Coordinate with external testing teams to provide proper feedback procedures as well as guidelines for issue clarity and accuracy.
Defining, adapting, and documenting QA processes as team and product needs change.
What we’re looking for...
You'll need to have:
Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.
Four or more years of relevant work experience.
Relevant work experience within a software development environment.
Even better if you have
Direct experience with manual testing and defect management with mobile applications.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Familiarity with the Agile development process, Git, Jira, Charles (or similar proxying clients, Postman (or similar REST test tools).
Experience using automated testing frameworks.
