Aboveall, we believe that collaboration is the best way forward.Primary ResponsibilitiesHDR currently has an opening for a CADD/BIM Specialist with a processequipment and piping focus to join our team in Denver. The primary duties ofthis position will be to create 3D process design models and associatedconstruction documents independently under ambiguous direction from a ProjectEngineer or Project Manager on various projects that includewater/wastewater treatment, federal, and power/energy facilities. Willperform non-routine and complex BIM modeling/drafting assignments requiringapplication of standardized electronic modeling/drafting techniques. BIMDesigner is expected to work independently with occasional advice fromsupervisor. Position requires knowledge of procedures for the production ofdesign development and construction documents for water/ wastewater andinfrastructure projects. The ability to work as an integrated member of aproject team and willingness to collaborate with colleagues from other officesis essential. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced process BIMSpecialist to advance their career.QualificationsRequired Qualifications* Associates degree in Engineering Technology / CAD or equivalent experience.* 10 years of Revit design/modeling experience is preferred.* Demonstrated proficiency using Revit 2018 to create complex BIM models andconstruction documents is required. Proficiency using the Autodesk productsNavisworks 2018 and AutoCAD 2018 is also required. Proficiency using AutoCADCivil 3D for pipeline design profiling and site grading would be a plus.* Strong computer skills using Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, and Adobe products.* Experience design drafting for treatment facilities, pumping stations,storage facilities, and related public works infrastructure projects isrequire* Knowledgeable of national CAD/BIM standards along with willingness tolearn and adhere to client design CAD/BIM standards is required.* Demonstrated attention to detail and organization skills.* Demonstrated oral and written communication and documentation skills.Why HDRAt HDR, we know work isn't only about who you work for; it's alsoabout what you do and how you do it.
