Aboveall, we believe that collaboration is the best way forward.HDR Constructors is looking for a Power Delivery Engineering/ConstructionIntegrated Delivery Lead to join our growing team in Spokane, WA.Primary ResponsibilitiesThe Power Delivery Engineering/Construction Integrated Delivery Lead will beresponsible for being the liaison between the design and construction of highvoltage substation and transmission line projects.More specific responsibilities include:* Liaison between Testing & Commissioning contractors and Electricalcontractors to help support and prevent troubleshooting issues.* Understand and develop outage plans for retrofitting energized substations* Work with control house and panel vendors reviewing drawings and providingfactory acceptance reviews as necessary.* Work with vendors and provide presence onsite at factories asnecessary/required by owners.* Review and help estimate/generate substation Bill of Materials, withpart numbers and understanding of device compatibilities.* Assist various crafts, disciplines and subcontractors in executing theirrespective work* Both in the field and from an off project site location* Communicate and lead by example all HDR safety rules, policies, andprocedures to contractors and subordinate personnel.* Responsible for quality control reviews of projects from other teams on anas needed basis.* Works independently and may direct, mentor, train, and/or superviseefforts of engineers in training, and newly hired HDR field constructionmanagement staff.* Provide field support, as necessary.* Perform other duties as neededQualificationsRequired Qualifications:* Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Construction Management required.* 15 years experience of protection and control work for HV substations, upto 500kV.
