Pavement Engineer Flux Location:Colorado, Denver DescriptionFlux is currently searching for a Pavement Engineer for a Direct Hire positionin Denver, CO. This person will be working with one of the largestemployee-owned, construction and engineering firms in North America. Withmore than 80 offices around the world, projects include program managementservices from site selection through design, construction, commissioningand start-up, for seamless project delivery.How you'll spend your days:Experience in Pavement Design (AASHTO '93, MEPDG)Experience in Pavement Materials (Asphalt, Concrete, Base Courses, Subgrades)Experience in Pavement forensics/research regarding pavement performanceExperience in developing Pavement related construction specificationsExperience interpreting Pavement Materials quality/process control dataExperience proportioning and reviewing pavement mixesAbility to interpret/learn/apply client specific design methodologies,specifications, and standardsExperience with the analysis of pavement profile, falling weightdeflectometer, ground penetrating radar, and pavement friction testingequipment desireExperience/knowledge of working in roadway traffic-controlled work zonesand/or construction project sites is highly desiredDevelop and maintain internal and external client relationships, includingproject and non-project related face-to-face meetingsProvide work direction and train junior engineering staffWhat you'll bring to the table:B.S. degree in Civil Engineering.
