Primary ResponsibilitiesTasks / Duties * Selection, coordination, and layout of HVAC,plumbing and fire protection systems and equipment as a part of assistingarchitects and engineers in the design of maintenance facilities * Performheating and cooling load calculations * Construction field observation andshop drawing review * Develop control diagrams and sequences to establishoperation of building systems * Report writing * Construction documentdevelopment and modification * Mentor, organize, and motivate lessexperienced staff * QC and review construction documents * Other design /engineering tasks as assignedProfessional Development Participates in professional development seminar,course, workshop, or conference to be determined and approved in advanceof attendance. Maintains continuing education requirements for anycertification or license.#LI-MB2QualificationsRequired QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering * 7 years' experience inmechanical systems coordination and design * P.E.Technical * Working knowledge of Revit and AutoCAD * Command of MicrosoftOffice (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) * Working knowledge of Trane Traceor similar load analysis software * Technical and specification writingskillsPhysical Requirements General: Required to talk, hear, stand, walk,use hands to finger, handle or feel and reach with hands and arms *Tolerance: Able to sit or stand in front of computer or other equipment forlong periods of time.
