RESPONSIBILITIESThe Production Supervisor role will work on a team charged with managing allaspects of our Operations at our manufacturing facility in Denver, CO. TheManufacturing Supervisor will lead a cross-functional team of manufacturingemployees. The Manufacturing Supervisor will be responsible for ensuring thattheir team is properly scheduled, trained and provided the direction andmotivation needed to meet Key Performance Indicators to include Employee andFood Safety (GMPs), Efficiency Metrics, Yield Realization and ProductCost Targets. Additionally he/she is responsible for interfacing with andproviding direction to the sanitation and maintenance resources that areresponsible manufacturing areas and related equipment. As our businesscontinues to grow, this position will have direct input into how we continueto grow in a manner that meets the needs for increased capacity. * Establishes a culture of respect, hard work, consistency andeffective communication in the production facility and when interfacing withcontacts external to the organization. * Maintains food production yields and quality assurance and controlmethods in a high speed food manufacturing operation focused on continuousimprovement. * Utilizes company production planning tools and resources to maximizefacility throughput and workflow. * Adheres to the Federal, State, and District rules and regulationspertaining to food manufacturing operations including both Food Safety andEmployee Safety. * Maintains the company s high standards of food safety, sanitation andcleanliness in all manufacturing facility areas. * Manages the health, sanitation, and safety regulations pertainingto the handling and storage of foods and the operation of food processingfacilities and equipment. * Develops and maintains accurate records, makes mathematicalcomputations, and prepares production reports. * Reviews and analyzes production work processes and implementscorrective action for operational improvements. * Establishes and maintains effective working relationships with Peers,Vendors and Manufacturing Employees to ensure costs are aligned with theoperating budget. * Participates in hiring, staff training and development, and thesupervision of the production staff. * Conducts performance reviews and coaching for hourly manufacturingemployees. * Flexible work schedule as dictated by the needs of the business * This individual acknowledges as part of the management team, areresponsible for food safety and quality at the Boulder Brand s Udi sFacilities * In the instance this individual is absent from the facility and cannotbe reached, their backup defaults to the individual that this individualreports to * Performs other duties, as assigned, and follows through on requestsin a timely manner QUALIFICATIONS * Entrepreneurial spirit and drive needed to work effectively within agrowing company. * Hands on production manager experience working in a high volume, foodmanufacturing facility. * Proven track record for delivering success in fast pac
