Manage and supervise all functions of the Operations Department at the branch level. Manage to assigned budget. Focus on day to day operational efficiencies and procedures.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Determine work procedures, prepare work schedules and workflow.
Collaborate with Client Solutions to ensure all events are produced efficiently.
Ensure all policies and procedures are in place and being followed.
Coordinate operation of all shows for the branch including the dock, tools and equipment regardless of show size or facility.
Recruit, interview, hire, train and supervise Operations personnel.
Conduct pre show meetings with lead supervisors to create efficiencies, maximize straight time hours, sensible budgeting of overtime hours, and application of proven practices.
Secure and evaluate the use of rental equipment.
Conduct employee performance appraisals and recommend annual merit increases.
Communicate all corporate communications and changes to policies and procedures to staff.
Respond to customer inquiries or complaints regarding Operations.
Ensure labor budgets are generated on applicable events, monitor budget status, coach and train as needed.
Participates in major pre and post event execution reviews.
Assists the Director of Operations with the Capital Expenditure process.
Ensure that all facility rules and regulations are followed. Develop and maintain the relationships with the facilities department supervisors that are necessary for consistency and efficiency.
Reviews department policies and procedures and determines process improvements.
Perform other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
College Degree Preferred. High School Diploma Required.
Eight or more years of industry experience preferred.
Six or more years of supervisory experience.
Three years of experience managing supervisors, and budgets preferred.
Experience producing events of all sizes and complexity.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
