Manage and supervise all functions of the Operations Department at the branch level. Manage to assigned budget. Focus on day to day operational efficiencies and procedures.


  • Determine work procedures, prepare work schedules and workflow.

  • Collaborate with Client Solutions to ensure all events are produced efficiently.

  • Ensure all policies and procedures are in place and being followed.

  • Coordinate operation of all shows for the branch including the dock, tools and equipment regardless of show size or facility.

  • Recruit, interview, hire, train and supervise Operations personnel.

  • Conduct pre show meetings with lead supervisors to create efficiencies, maximize straight time hours, sensible budgeting of overtime hours, and application of proven practices.

  • Secure and evaluate the use of rental equipment.

  • Conduct employee performance appraisals and recommend annual merit increases.

  • Communicate all corporate communications and changes to policies and procedures to staff.

  • Respond to customer inquiries or complaints regarding Operations.

  • Ensure labor budgets are generated on applicable events, monitor budget status, coach and train as needed.

  • Participates in major pre and post event execution reviews.

  • Assists the Director of Operations with the Capital Expenditure process.

  • Ensure that all facility rules and regulations are followed. Develop and maintain the relationships with the facilities department supervisors that are necessary for consistency and efficiency.

  • Reviews department policies and procedures and determines process improvements.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.


  • College Degree Preferred. High School Diploma Required.

  • Eight or more years of industry experience preferred.

  • Six or more years of supervisory experience.

  • Three years of experience managing supervisors, and budgets preferred.

  • Experience producing events of all sizes and complexity.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
