National Jewish Health Manager, Cystic Fibrosis Clinical Research in Denver, Colorado

Position SummaryTo function as a management member of Clinical Research Services providingleadership to the Cystic Fibrosis (CF) team in the implementation andcoordination of clinical research.Essential DutiesManages and develops an effective staff: providing effectivecommunication, leadership, guidance and resources. Determines staffqualifications and competency: recruits, interviews, selects,hires, trains, orients, mentors, evaluates, coaches, counsels,disciplines, and rewards. Establishes and monitors staff safety andregulatoryManages the conduct of clinical research consistent with institutional anddepartment policies and standards, sponsor requirements and regulatoryobligations.Coordinates the conduct of research and serves as liaison with clinicalteam, other sites and external stakeholders in all phases of studyplanning, recruitment, implementation, and execution.Oversees all aspects of clinical research including patient safety andregulatory requirements. Provides expertise in support of protocol andinformed consent development.
