Contract Engineering Services Machine Operator/Wave Solder in Denver, Colorado
CES Engineering is seeking a Machine Operator/Wave Solder to work with ourclient, an electronics contract manufacturing company specializing in PCBassembly in Longmont. The Machine Operator/Wave Solder will have knowledgeof electronics manufacturing, blueprint reading, measuring tools,machine operations, and instruments specifically related to PCB assembly.The Machine Operator/Wave Solder will be responsible for soldering of PCBassemblies on the wave solder machine utilizing controlled programs and/orprofiles specified by engineering. Ability to perform all start-up and shutdown routines required as documented on the manufacturer s or companyprocedureMachine Operator/Wave Solder Duties Adhere to all ESD requirements and Board Handling. Use of Moisture Sensitive Device (MSD) handling requirements basedon component moisture sensitive levels (MSL). Ability to start the equipment, address the correct program or profilename outlined in documentation and run equipment to solder PCB assemblies. Ability to perform daily and weekly Preventative Maintenance, enteringresults into a maintenance log. Ability to measure solder pot requirements based on the chemistrycontents of the machine and add necessary metals as required. Follow start-up (as well as shut-down) and safety procedures tooperate machines. Inspect board output to assure product meets IPC-A-610 Standards. Assure that all processes are signed off to their proper designationsrelated to the work center requirements.Machine Operator/Wave Solder Skills Ability to utilize electronic manufacturing system (OCuity). Knowledge of IPC-DVD-64C Component Identification. Pass IPC-A-610 Modules: 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, & 8. Ability to multi-task with strong sense of urgency; ability to meetdeadlines. Computer skills. Obtain operation specifications through OCuity. Knowledge of machine maintenance per manufacturer s guidelines.Machine Operator/Wave Solder Requirements High School Diploma or GED equivalent. 1 year experience in an electronic manufacturing environment preferredutilizing similar equipment.
