Baker Hughes, a GE company has an opening for an Lead Application Engineer (Completion tools) – to be based in Denver, CO.
Provides skilled level support for the product line(s), technical selling, key field product application, well prognosis, and/or completion product performance.
Assists with prototype tool applications and new product market introductions.
Investigates unusual or unsatisfactory product performance to determine root cause and preventative action.
May be lead engineering/technical position in region or area. (Field Service Personnel not included).
Handles special projects, as assigned.
This role will include open hole and cased hole applications.
Conducts all business activities in accordance with BHGE HSE policies, Legal Compliance requirements and BHGE Core Values
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent years of experience.
7+ years of Oilfield Services experience in all completions applications and equipment..
Ability to drive product line strategy.
Proficient in MS Office with an emphasis on Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint
Comprehensive, specialized technical knowledge of company's products and services for area of responsibility and general knowledge of products and services of other business segments. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong negotiating skills.
Demonstrated understanding of sales process, ability to build strong relationships and close business.
