Come join us and help shape the future!WSP is currently initiating a search for an Enviromental Planning Intern forour Denver, Colorado office for Summer 2021.Duties and Responsibilities:General environmental planning support, including data collection,research, and documentationAssist in analysis of geospatial, statistical, and operations dataContribute to the development of environmental planning documents, includingalternatives analysis, community outreach materials, resource technicalreports, National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) CategoricalExclusion, Environmental Assessment, and Environmental Impact Statementdocumentation, permit applications, and other analysesSupport field work/research and community outreach for public clientsTalent is the essence of meeting our clients' objectives, goals andchallenges. Job RequirementsMinimum Qualifications:Current standing as a Rising Sophomore, Junior, Senior or Graduate studentactively enrolled in an accredited Planning, Environmental Planning (orrelated) Undergraduate or Graduate programKnowledge or experience with permitting and community planningExperience with basic computer software, including Microsoft Word,Excel, OutlookSelf-motivated with strong written, verbal and interpersonal communicationskillsExercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds,resources and conduct and adhere to WSP's Code of Conduct and relatedpolicies and proceduresProven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide byWSP's health, safety and drug/alcohol and harassment policiesPreferred Qualifications:Local candidates preferred.
