ERM is seeking an Environmental Health & Safety Consultant, withconsulting and/or private-sector experience in Denver, CO. The idealcandidate will bring a wealth of Occupational Health and Safety (H&S)and process safety technical capability and deep understanding of OSHAand/or MSHA regulations, as well as business processes to help our clientsproactively address their EHS risks and challenges.RESPONSIBILITIES:Design and implement corporate H&S strategies and programs forbehavior-based safety, compliance auditing, safety management systems,process safety and risk management, high-impact training, and generalcompliance support.Develop and manage innovative, behavior and performance outcome-focusedapproaches and programs for a variety of clients with complex technical/regulatory issues.Conduct Process Safety Management (PSM) compliance, Process HazardAnalysis (PHA), and conduct Mechanical Integrity (MI) audits.Conduct training, field coaching, and assessment for safety performanceimprovement projects.Manage multiple projects within scope/budget/schedule expectations andensure quality standards on project deliverables.Prepare high-quality reports with clear diagrams and fully explained analysisand calculations.Support ERM Partners-in-Charge and other Program/Project Managers toeffectively manage and deliver projects.Effectively steward and build client relationships leading to repeat business.Provide on-site compliance support at client facilities.Appropriately delegate project assignments to project teams and mentor juniorstaff.Build strong collaborative relationships with other ERM employees.REQUIREMENTS:BS/MS in safety, occupational health, environmental science,engineering, or related science degree.7+ years relevant experience in working with industrial clients onregulatory compliance and sustainable H&S compliance programs, withemphasis in the oil and gas, power, and manufacturing sectors.Demonstrated ability to provide detailed regulatory interpretation of federaland state OSHA and MSHA regulations with practical implementation.Recognized technical expertise by and established reputation in the localmarketplace.Ability to work with each level of management and employees to promote aculture of safety.Solid understanding of the relevant local, state, and federal regulationsand how they apply to oil and gas, power and manufacturing clients.Excellent communication, interpersonal, MS Office computer, andanalytical skills; experienced in writing comprehensive technical reports.Certification in field; CSP, CIH, PE, or similar registration highlydesirable.Ability to multi-task, maintain flexibility, travel, and workindependently with minimal supervision.Auditing experience preferred.Qualified candidates will be contacted by email, and requested to complete apre-interview or video questionnaire.
