Since 1997, we have been a remediation contractor forfederal, state, local agencies and private sector clients, providingservices nationwide from our St. Louis corporate headquarters and from our 23regional offices located across the United States.Under general supervision, the Environmental Laborer - Hazardous MaterialsTechnician, performs a range of tasks required for environmental cleanupoperations to include but not limited to, tank cleaning, manualremediation services, waste bulking, sampling, and/or demolitionservices, in accordance with established company policies and procedures.JOB DESCRIPTIONOperate and maintain small equipment such as generators, centrifugal andpneumatic pumps, air compressors etcCompletion of scheduled tasks on time and in an organized mannerMaintain cleanliness and organization of workspaces and materialsAbility to complete training and certifications necessary for employment suchas 40hr HAZWOPER, Class A or B CDL with Hazmat endorsement, and ICS awareness.Perform hazardous waste operations and cleanup activities, samplecollection, waste removal and other remediation servicesFollow applicable written standard operating procedures, regulations,guidelines, policies, and site-specific safety plans when performingcleanup activitiesComply with decontamination procedures and personal protective equipmentrequirementsRecognize and appropriately respond to physical and chemical hazardsCommunicate technical information, concepts, and ideas verbally and in writingOperate routinely used hand and power toolsPerform routine inspection and preventive maintenance on assigned equipmentWarehouse maintenance, stock supplies, building maintenanceJOB REQUIREMENTSPass a pre-employment drug screen, criminal background check, and physicalexam.Legally eligible to work in the United States (Verified through E-Verify)Must be able to interpret and follow written and oral instructions andassignments.Willing to perform a diverse set of tasks and adapt to changing workenvironmentsAble to wear full and half face respiratorAble to work in confined spacesRegularly lift and carry 50 poundsAs this position includes emergency response activities, applicant must bewilling to be on-call and live within the Denver metro area.EOE/AA M/F/Vets/Disabled
