Westwood has a highlyexperienced and dynamic team of individuals dedicated to providing high-levelprofessional services to our clients.Duties and Responsibilities:Construction document production support for commercial and utility scalesolar, wind, and energy storage projectsCoordinate with design team disciplines including civil engineers,geotechnical engineers, and surveyorsUtilize AutoCAD to create construction documents and perform quantitytakeoffs. Construction documents will include site layouts, wire/cablerouting plans, one lines, details, equipment/wire schedules, etc.Create wiring/cable schedules based on takeoffs and sizing input from seniorand staff designers/engineersMaintain awareness and knowledge of Westwood design/CAD standardsLearn about electrical engineering for renewable energy projects and thispotential career path after graduation while working in a fun and friendlyenvironment Required ExperiencePursuing a Bachelors Degree, Associates Degree, or Technical SchoolCertificate in Electrical Engineering/Design, Renewable Energy Design withan emphasis on the electrical aspects, or similar related degreeProficiency with Microsoft Windows/Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint,etc.) productsProfessional appearance with excellent written and verbal communicationsskillsMust have a strong work ethic along with a positive attitudeMust be willing to learn and ask questions as needed to facilitate learningMust be a supportive team member, able to work in a collaborative environmentMust be self-motivated with an ability to balance multiple projects undertight deadlinesPreferred Consideration (Not Required):Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar computer aided drafting programExperience with or exposure to ArcGISExperience with or exposure to ETAP, CYME, Power Factory, or similarsoftware package used to model electrical power systems and perform loadflow, short circuit, voltage drop, grounding, thermal, andprotective device coordination studies and analysis.Experience with or exposure to PVsyst, Helioscope, SAM, or other PVproduction modeling softwareExperience with or exposure to Helios 3D or SunDATExperience with or exposure to Homer Pro/Grid or similar microgrid analysissoftwareAbout Westwood Professional Services, Inc.
