Electrical Design Technician - Denver, CO Westwood Professional Services, Inc.Westwood Professional Services, Inc. is seeking an Electrical DesignTechnician to join our team in our Denver, CO office. Westwood has a highlyexperienced and dynamic team of individuals dedicated to providing high-levelprofessional services to our clients.Duties and Responsibilities:Construction document production support for commercial and utility scalesolar, wind, and energy storage projects.Coordinate with design team disciplines including electrical engineers,civil engineers, geotechnical engineers, and surveyorsUtilize AutoCAD to create construction documents and perform quantitytakeoffs. Construction documents will include site layouts, wire/cablerouting plans, one lines, details, equipment/wire schedules, etc.Maintain awareness and knowledge of Westwood design/CAD standards Required ExperienceProficiency in AutoCADProficiency with AutoCAD Sheet Set ManagerApproximately 5 years of experience in the CAD drafting/design of electricalpower/distribution or similar systemsWorking knowledge and ability to read construction drawings and specificationsProficiency with Microsoft Windows/Office productsProfessional appearance with excellent written and verbal communicationsskillsMust have a strong work ethic along with a positive attitudeMust be a supportive team member, able to work in a collaborative environmentMust be self-motivated with an ability to balance multiple projects undertight deadlinesMust be willing to go the extra mile to ensure deadlines are maintained andprojects are kept on schedulePreferred Consideration (Not Required):Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3DExperience with renewable CAD design, including wind, solar, and/orbattery storage facilitiesExperience with Helios 3D or SunDATExperience with Global MapperProficiency with ArcGISAbout Westwood Professional Services, Inc.
