Model and redesign the distribution structure to improveefficiencies, maximize growth, and reduce costs.Principal responsibilitiesDevelop in depth understanding of products, customers, service timeinvestments, depots, and various measurements of the route distributionsystem.Develop product and customer strategies and develop a distribution systemaround these strategies.Identify waste areas in the distribution system.Ability to redesign the distribution system to maximize growth and to reducewaste in the system.Understanding of depots, product mix, and areas serviced.Ability to learn to use strategic and dynamic distribution restructure tools.Ability to communicate and work with project teams to review present,proposed restructures and their financial impacts.Develop project presentations clearly describing goals, methodology,analysis results and recommendations for presentation to all levels ofmanagement involved.Responsible for ensuring and maintaining a safe environment through complianceof all Company, Local, State and Federal mandates or programs.
