Lead the Agile enablement effort in Tableau’s Development and Product group. Nurture and grow a team of talented Agile coaches as you establish common practices and language across teams and organizations. Work closely with the Tableau Product Ops teams and engineering and product leaders across Tableau to identify and drive cross-product, cross-org efficiencies.
This team is responsible for:
Coaching orgs, teams and individuals on healthy software and infrastructure practices;
Training the organization in agile methodologies (lean, kanban, scrum),
Role specific training (product owner, scrummaster, functional manager);
Individual and team based coaching;
Evangelizing the "why" behind everything we do;
Advising internal customers and partners on how to accelerate their organizations by leveraging agile values/practices
Maintaining a lean organization that scales as we grow
Creating and executing plans to expand agile education for key team roles
Developing coaching career ladder and paths for growth
Aligning this team and the agile practice at Tableau with the Salesforce Agile Delivery team
Partnering closely with the Product Ops teams to identify and drive cross-product, cross-org process improvements
Demonstrating mature agile practices such as scrum of scrum at scale, leading teams and orgs in RCA, and recommending potential solutions for gaps
7+ years experience in technology organizations.
5+ years of large-scale Agile coaching experience with methods such as XP, Scrum, Lean, and Kanban.
Hands-on experience applying lean/Agile methodologies in a range of industry and technology spaces
Ability to travel in the After-COVID-Times to Seattle and other locations at least once a month.
Deep knowledge of Agile principles and practices and the ability to transfer that understanding at all levels of the organization.
Demonstrated consulting and facilitation skills in leading technical teams in the adoption and improvement of Agile methodologies.
Senior Agile Leadership skills with an ability to lead by example and challenge command and control behaviors at multiple levels of an engineering and product organization.
Excellent presentation and training skills.
Excellent executive presence.
Certified ScrumMaster and Product Owner or equivalent.
Application of Agile principles in one or more of these development disciplines: design, development, testing, and management; can relate principles, practices into performing these disciplines in an Agile environment
For Colorado-based roles: Minimum annual salary of $143,400. You may also be offered a bonus, restricted stock units, and benefits.
