Overview:Our Denver office is seeking a talented Design Professional to join theArchitecture team.An Architecture Design Professional supports project teams using a wide rangeof developing professional skills. Performs basic design and technical tasksrequiring application of standard techniques and knowledge while working undergeneral supervision. Eager to learn, highly organized and willing tocontribute creatively to the team.Responsibilities:Modifies or creates implementation documents, applying standardarchitectural techniques, collaborative design computations and proceduresas assigned under directionPerforms routine architectural assignments and may have some designresponsibility collaborating with other team members as designatedAssignments may include higher-level work for training/development purposesMay attend on-site visits, field reviews and client and/or projectmeetings as appropriateMay assist in preparing proposals, presentations, schedules and processingof implementation documentation and samplesMay participate in communication with other disciplines, vendors andcontractors to incorporate information into project requirementsParticipates in team meetings to discuss project issues, design andtechnical issues and coordination with other disciplinesDevelops understanding of the firm's basic accounting principles, projectbudgets and feesUnderstands the financial implications of overhead and chargeable time,including accountability to project plan and planned utilization rateFosters awareness of the importance of growing and maintaining clientrelationships and the basic concept of business developmentMay assist in production of marketing presentationsQualifications:Accredited professional degree in Architecture or related fieldOn the path to Architectural RegistrationTypically with 0-3 years of experienceSustainable design accreditation preferredKnowledge of architectural software such as Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks and3D modeling preferredKnowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, Sketchup and InDesign graphicsoftware preferredProficiency in MS Office Suite preferredKnowledge of sustainability and integrated design guidelinesKnowledge of building codesAbility to communicate in a clear, concise and professional manner bothverbally and in writing#LI-KT1If you currently work for HKS, please submit your application via theInternal Careers Portal.HKS is an EEO/AA Employer: M/F/Disabled/VeteranHKS is an EEO/Affirmative Action Employer and committed to a policy ofnon-discrimination in all employment practices including, but not limitedto, recruiting, hiring, training, advancement, compensation, andtermination.
