Pre-construction value engineering servicesto the owner, architect, engineer and contractor makes Concrete FrameAssociates a welcome member of the construction team.If you are a junior or senior pursuing a bachelor's degree in constructionmanagement, civil or construction engineering as well as possess stronginterpersonal skills, technical and problem-solving abilities, leadershipskills, and enjoy working with a diverse workforce apply for this careeropportPrimary ResponsibilitiesAssists the project team in establishing the sequential steps involved in allprocesses with the scope of the project, and adapts schedules and work tasksaccordingly.Supports the planning and estimating stage of projects to ensure the mostefficient, safe and economical form system are incorporated into the projectdesign.Responsible for supporting the preparation of accurate formwork layoutdrawings and erection instructions for field crews.Works closely with the project team monitoring the safety, cost andscheduling of construction projects.Troubleshoots and resolves concerns regarding structural design with projectteam.Contributes to the projects safety goals by reducing hazards during the designplanning state ensuring that all formwork systems meet construction and safetystandards.Assists in coordination of material purchases, deliveries, tracking andforecasting ensuring maximum utilization of Concrete Frame Associates physicalresources.Stays abreast of innovative developments and incorporates these advancementsin the development and design of new forming systems/equipment intended toexpand Concrete Frame Associates productivity, capabilities and market share.Manages assigned projects including working with local team to developprocesses for delivering total concrete solutions.Supervises the activity and development of relevant positions includingdetailers, estimators, project coordinators and material coordinators.Develops and maintains customer relationships to enhance company's abilityto procure projects, reduce risk, and ensure operational efficiency.Works in cooperation with other office personnel to negotiate and executesales contracts consistent with policies.Monitors the overall safety issues on the project.Oversee the preparation of quantity surveys, formwork estimates, andproject proposals.Assists with the development and coordination of material and equipmentschedules and promotes their efficient use.Performs special projects and completes all other duties as assigned orrequested for the general support of the organization.Minimum QualificationsIn the process of obtaining a bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering,Construction Engineering, Construction Management, or related degree.Basic knowledge of AutoCAD and/or BIM Modeling.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability tocommunicate effectively with all levels of the organization, as well as withcustomers and vendors.Detail oriented with the ability to efficiently analyze and organizesignificant amounts of information regarding plan layouts, materialdeliveries and jobsite productivities.Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook).Basic knowledge of safety and relevant OSHA requirements and regulations.Ability to travel and work for extended period of time on projects outside ofoffice area. #cb# #concreteframe#Applications valid until September 30, 2018.
