At McKinstry, hasemerged as an essential part of project delivery and a preferred method forensuring that building systems are installed and operated to provide maximumperformance. Our suite of owner-direct offerings helps our clients make gooddecisions that will improve efficiency, lower operating costs, and performmaximum comfort and lifespan of a building.In this role you will lead the Mountain Region Commissioning team in three keyareas:People Management:You will manage and mentor the Mountain Region Commissioning team consistingof 15 high-performing engineering professionals, supporting hiringefforts, developing project staffing plans, and directing the developmentand implementation of training programs.Customer Service:We will look to you to build, establish, and manage meaningful clientrelationships, providing a single point of contact for clients regardingcommissioning project timelines for key/strategic accounts.Project and Business Development:You will support project development by implementing and managing NewConstruction commissioning procedures and assisting with project issueresolution. With the support of the Commissioning team, you will serve asthe primary point of contact for McKinstry's Business Development team forall Commissioning related sales pursuits, leading the technical response andbudget development for new opportunities.What we would like to see from you:Minimum four (4) years management experience required.BA/BS in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, FacilitiesManagement or equivalent field of study required, or equivalent workexperience required.Ten (10) years of experience in commissioning services required, fifteen(15) years of industry experience preferred.Knowledge and proficiency in BCA, ACG, NEBB, PECI and/or ASHRAEcommissioning procedures required.Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and building automationsystems is required.Ability to read and understand construction documents (drawings,specifications, etc.) required.PE registration strongly preferred.BCA CCP or ACG CxA registration strongly preferred.LEED AP, CEM professional designations are preferred.Knowledge of building HVAC mechanical systems, BAS systems, energyanalysis, and performance contracting preferred.The McKinstry group of companies are equal opportunity employers.
