Our team focuses on thedesign of major civil works programs including upgrades, improvements,design, planning and construction of dams, levees, and water conveyanceinfrastructure.Primary Responsibilities* Seeking growth oriented Civil/Dam Safety Engineer with 10 years ofexperience for project and client management activities. Project managementwill be for all phases of a project including planning, design,construction, and program management.* Demonstrate leadership in applying project management principals to projectdelivery of complex water management projects* Dam safety design management including geotechnical, structural,civil, hydraulic design efforts.* Conduct analyses to develop alternatives, design options, orrecommendations for dam safety or water management projects* Prepare cost estimates, design drawings, and specifications for waterresources related projects.* Collect, assimilate, and present data in technical and non-technicalreports.* Lead client management and the technical development of project proposalsand cost estimates* Work independently in addition to planning, organizing and assisting teamsof professionals and technicians dependent on project/task.* Perform other duties as needed.*LI-MB1QualificationsRequired Qualifications* Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Civil or Geotechnical) required.* Colorado PE registration required or the ability to receive your PE within 6months.* 10 to 15 years of progressive experience in dam engineering projects ispreferred.* Proficient knowledge of dam safety engineering tools and techniques.* Excellent oral and written communication skills and good internal reviewprocesses.* An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of ouremployee-owned culture is a must.Preferred Qualifications* Master of Science in civil engineering, structural or geotechnical orrelated field.* Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.* Demonstrated experience leading dam design projects from conceptual toconstruction.Why HDRAt HDR, we know work isn't only about who you work for; it'salso about what you do and how you do it.
