We are seeking an Architectural Designer (Revit) to support Jviation, A Woolpert Company in Denver, CO or Cincinnati, OH. The Architectural Designer will work closely with the architectural team from conceptual design thru permit drawings, construction drawings, and construction administration. Strong design, detailing and collaborative skills desired.


  • The person in this position will work directly under the supervision of a registered Project Architect and have an opportunity to accumulate IDP credits in all required categories for registration.

  • Develop architectural designs based on customer input and feedback

  • Responsibilities will include assisting in all phases of project design, including concept formulation, construction documents, bidding and construction administration.

  • Obtain and assemble data to complete architectural designs, visiting job sites to compile measurements as necessary.

  • Draw rough and detailed scale plans for foundations, buildings and structures, based on preliminary concepts, sketches, engineering calculations, specification sheets and other data.

  • Creates and modifies Architectural details for upcoming projects.

  • Revise architectural plans as marked and thoroughly coordinates all sheets that are affected by any changes

  • Create and evaluate cost estimates.

  • Scans/Copies project drawings as needed.

  • Maintains accurate and timely documentation pertinent to individual projects.

  • Communicates with external and internal contacts in person and on telephone, answers questions and directs to appropriate individual when necessary.

  • Works closely with architects contractors and independent reps.

  • Perform site visits to observe, document, and evaluate construction progress.

  • Performs other related duties, as assigned.

Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture, or related field.

  • Minimum of four (4-10+) years of related work experience in an A/E firm. Aviation experience is preferred.

  • Candidate should be well-versed with the architectural design process as well as producing design and construction documents using Revit.

  • Advanced knowledge of Revit including skills in AutoCAD are required.

  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Must be familiar with architectural standards, engineering practices, building ordinances and blueprints in or to communicate effectively with clients and co-workers.

  • Must be able to manage several projects at one time.
