Thesuccessful candidate will work with the design team and be the integration andtest authority for assigned projects. The IandT Engineer supports thedevelopment and maintenance of the test requirements, test plan, and testapproach from project kick-off through closure of the contract. Responsiblefor verification of technical scope as defined by the design authority, witha focus of maintaining cost and schedule goals. Facilitates coordination ofcross-functional engineering teams for requirements development. Job duties include: Deciphers technical contractual requirements and allocates them to testcases within the project's test plan Create test procedures and automated test software to verify product'scompliance with requirements Perform customer witnessed acceptance testing of project hardware Manages requirement traceability through verification, using tools suchas a Requirements Verification Matrix Develop requirements for creating test simulators or custom test tools Assesses project technical risks and provides mitigation plans particularlyaround testability Coordinates the review, presentation and release of test documentation tosupport requirements compliance, including Technical Interchange Meetings,Preliminary and Critical Design Reviews Coordinates with the Project Engineer and Program Manager (PM),design team and functional management to communicate program impediments orissues / delays in completing tasksRequired Qualifications Bachelor's degree in an applicable engineering, technical, or sciencediscipline Minimum 5 years relevant experience with Engineering, Systems,Integration, Test, and/or Software, preferably within the aerospace oraviation industries, or minimum 2 years with Master's degree RF/IF test and integration experience Familiarity with RF Communications Experience using commercial test equipment such as Spectrum Analyzer,Vector Network Analyzer, Oscilloscope, WAN Emulator, etc Experience with creating test software using Python and/or NationalInstruments Tools Ability to create test plans and test procedures in MS Word Knowledgeable in best industry practices, standards, tools, and technologies Good communication and relationship skills with program leadership,engineering leadership, customers, and engineering team members Ability to maintain sensitive and confidential information as required bygovernment standards Ability to interact effectively with peers and supervisors, maintaining aprofessional demeanor Software and product development techniques, Agile, SCRUM, plusWater-fall approaches Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance Ability to travel ( 10%, as needed)Preferred Skills: Integration experience in the aerospace or aviation industry Experienced and knowledgeable with DoD, satellite, andtelecommunication type programs Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally to meet department andcompany goals and requirements for assigned project(s) Familiarity with the following Kratos' products, vFEP/qFEP, vGTW,qCMD, qMR, qDRA, DDX, and SpecNetU.S. Citiz
