Philips Senior Program Manager - Sustaining PMO in Colorado Springs, Colorado

In this role, you have the opportunity to:

Partner with R&D leadership to standup and lead a new governance process for the Philips Sustaining Review Board for Colorado Springs, actively participate in a cross-site sustaining leadership board, mentor site project managers and lead major projects for the Philips Image Guided Therapy (IGT) business cluster.

As Senior Program Manager, you will bring strong practical experience in program and project management, change management, influence and leadership. You will operate within a rapidly evolving, cross-functional, highly regulated environment. This role requires strong cross-functional business acumen, including technical, marketing, manufacturing, finance, quality, clinical, and regulatory-based knowledge. You will have high visibility in an environment focused on growth and a genuine desire to improve with support from all levels of the organization.

You are responsible for:

  • Partnering with R&D leadership to standup and lead Philips Sustaining Review Board for Colorado Springs

  • Contributing to cross-site leadership team to share best practices and learnings across Colorado Springs, Minnesota, San Diego and Costa Rica sites to improve IGT performance

  • Leading project teams through the preparation, presentation and archival of Design Control reviews, Business Stage Gate Reviews, and other deliverables to support project objectives

  • Providing direction, guidance and coaching; influencing less experienced project leaders and cross-functional peers on best practices in project management including proficiency in running team meetings, management updates, and internal development reviews

  • Championing continuous improvement as demonstrated by personal example; evaluating project for opportunities to improve performance; continuously monitors risk and mitigates as appropriate; ensures team members adhere to internal procedures and regulatory requirements

  • Demonstrating excellent interpersonal and communication skills, in a persuasive and inspirational style that is timely, proactive, concise, candid, accurate, and clear, with all members of the organization

  • Partnering with site R&D leadership to facilitate site sustaining project discussions, including project leader assignments, tools, resourcing, and representing Colorado Site in cross-site PMO initiatives

You are a part of:

Philips Image Guided Therapy Devices Research & Development organization, where we enable healthcare providers to decide, guide, treat and confirm in one setting, thereby optimizing care, reducing costs and getting patients back to living the lives they love.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience:

  • Bachelor Degree in Engineering or Science, advanced degree preferred (MS, PhD, or MBA)

  • PMP Certification or equivalent strongly preferred, Critical Chain and/or Scrum/Agile experience helpful

  • Significant Leadership, Facilitation and Change Management experience

  • 8+ years project or program management experience leading cross functional teams within a regulated industry, Class II or III medical device preferred

  • Domain experience in imaging devices, disposable intravascular catheters or cardiac devices including disposables, software, hardware, systems or a combination thereof preferred

  • Working knowledge of design controls regulatory requirements (US, EU, Japan) and experience defending product information or processes in a regulatory audit preferred

US work authorization is a precondition of employment. The company will not consider candidates who require sponsorship for a work-authorized visa.

The salary range for this position is $135,000 - $165,000. The bonus target is 15%.
