The Advanced Capabilities Department is looking for self-motivated and mission-focused early career professionals willing to join a team of engineers solving some of the nation's most challenging technology problems. Domains include EM spectrum engineering, electronic warfare, satellite communications, and data science. A strong engineering foundation coupled with a desire to innovate and continuously learn are a must.
B.S. degree in have a degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, or a similar field and possess a strong understanding of signal processing.
5 years of related experience
Possess an active Top Secret Clearance and be able to obtain and maintain TS/SCI
Willing to work within a secure facility - a significant portion of the candidate's tasks may be restricted from remote work.
Must be able to demonstrate an ability to apply advanced principles, theories and concepts to real-world problems commensurate with their level of education.
Must understand the missions, domains, and challenges of MITRE customers,
Responsible for contributing to deliverables including definition, completion, and technical quality.
Able and willing to work on a team, under the direction of a senior engineer
M.S. degree in Electrical Engineering or Software Engineering or other education with signal processing focus
Possess excellent knowledge relative to education level of circuit analysis, FPGAs, digital and analog development tools, geolocation algorithms, system design, and embedded systems
Knowledge in Electromagnetics and RF
Knowledge of Software Defined Radio and CUDA development are desired.
Knowledge of testing basics and equipment (O-scope, spectrum analyzer, etc.)
Experience with one or more coding languages (MATLAB, Python, C#/++, etc.) Experience with one or more simulation software (HFSS, ADS, etc.)
