Measuring critical product/process variables, records orreports using appropriate tools and utilizing information to continuouslyimprove. If you are unable to maintain processes within established limits orspecifications you would have full authority to sop the operation and seekassiDay to day responsibilities include:Conducting required off-line testing for products.Ensuring all customer feedbacks are completed on-time, root cause isidentified and implemented.Analyzing SPC data, customer feedbacks, in-house rejections and processcapability data for trends and continuous improvement.Conducting process capability studies as required.Achieving Blue Belt/Green Belt Certifications and assisting in thedevelopment of quality action plans.Achieving ASQ CQT certifications or equivalent.Assisting in process capability studies as deemed necessary.Train plant personnel in the quality system.Provides hands on management of the elements of the QMS, these includequality action plans, corrective actions, supplier quality management,customer complaints, standard work , audit processes, standardprocedures, test methods, and process controls.Ensuring that the Business Unit systems are tied into corporate standards viareviews and audits while being responsible for managing all change control andline validation.Generating scorecards and reports for all aspects of plant quality, notlimited to and including NPS, CARs, SCARs, COAs, on-time and in-fulldeliveries, SPC reporting, losses, GMP/Product safety, internal,third party and customer audits and Change Control processes.Maintaining customer property.Assisting in maintaining process for document control.Documenting COA's, COC's as required.Gathering data and promoting awareness and report on customer satisfaction andrequirements for the plant.Act as the lead plant representative for any meetings or interactions withcustomers as it relates to product or service quality.Assisting with determining plant quality objectives and acting as the ISOrepresentative for the plant and ensure ISO certifiable/certified status.Ensuring processes needed for the QMS are established, implemented andmaintained.Facilitate improvement/corrective action teams.Defining quality concepts and quality processes, including statisticalbasics, etc.; applies quality tools; interprets information and data;applies team concepts.Where applicable, supporting and managing the food safety team to organizeits work, ensuring relevant training and education of the food safety teammembers, ensuring the food safety management system is established,implemented, maintained and updated, and reporting to the organization'stop management on the effectiveness and suitability of the food safetymanagemeMust know which measurement and test equipment (MandTE) tools areappropriate for various tasks and how to assess tool accuracy and precision;understanding the concept of standards traceability for MandTE.Understanding and applying basic inspection and testing techniques,including various types of sampling plans.Understanding and applying various quality audit types and their components,tools, and techniques.Must be able to control nonconforming material.Active involvement in quality activities including regional staff andreviewing meetings.Participate on teams and lead efforts toward continuous improvementinitiatives within the plant.This position is in
