Philips Project Manager - Modified Launch Design (MLD) in Colorado Springs, Colorado


In this role, you have the opportunity to

Lead cross-functional project teams for medical device projects, ensuring that patients can be treated to live their best lives. As Project Manager, you will bring strong practical experience in project management, change management and leadership. You will influence and lead within a rapidly evolving, cross-functional, highly regulated environment, including technical, marketing, manufacturing, finance, quality, clinical, and regulatory-based knowledge. This is a role with high visibility in an environment focused on growth and a genuine desire to improve with support from all levels of the organization.

You are responsible for

  • Leading teams to plan and execute project scope, scheduling, resourcing, budgeting, risks and mitigations for our medical device products.

  • Proficiently running team meetings, management updates, and key internal reviews, serving as the spokesperson for project teams.

  • Championing continuous improvement as demonstrated by personal example; coaching team members to improve individual and team performance.

  • Demonstrating excellent interpersonal and communication skills, in a persuasive and inspirational style that is timely, proactive, concise, candid, accurate, and clear.

  • Crafting an environment in which all team members are respected regardless of their individual differences based on consistently demonstrated personal values.

You are a part of

Philips Image Guided Therapy Devices Research & Development organization, where we enable healthcare providers to decide, guide, treat and confirm in one setting, thereby optimizing care, reducing costs and getting patients back to living the lives they love. Philips Image Guided Therapy (IGT) business cluster.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • Bachelor Degree in Engineering or Science, advanced degree preferred (MS, PhD, or MBA).

  • PMP Certification or equivalent strongly preferred, Lean Six Sigma and Scrum/Agile experience beneficial.

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience within project management experience leading cross functional teams within a regulated industry, Class II or III medical device preferred.

  • Domain experience in imaging devices, disposable intravascular catheters or cardiac devices including disposables, software, hardware, systems or a combination thereof beneficial.

  • Working knowledge of design controls regulatory requirements, manufacturing engineering and experience defending product information or processes in a regulatory audit preferred.

In return, we offer you

A challenging and dynamic environment where you will lead teams to develop best-in-class coronary vascular, peripheral vascular and heart rhythm management medical devices, influencing the practice of medicine around the world. You will work on a variety of technologies and disease states within peripheral vascular disease and other clinical adjacencies.

The salary range for this position is $110,000 - $130,000. The bonus target is 10%
