The IC Process Engineering Technician performs a variety of activities in support of Integrated Circuit (IC) manufacturing operations including engineering and manufacturing support, sustaining engineering activities, and process improvement.
Provide technical support to the engineering staff
Provide technical and production support for manufacturing operations
Resolves processing issues, implements corrective actions.
Development and maintenance of documentation including specifications, procedures, forms, and training material.
Support product analysis, root cause investigations
Troubleshoot and drive resolution of manufacturing process issues
Develop and maintain product recipes on manufacturing equipment
Execute engineering tests, experiments and work orders
Update and maintain process work instructions
Assist with process improvements and product development activities
Support, mentor and train manufacturing operations staff
Works effectively with internal and external customers.
Communicates effectively and professionally with peers, customers, and management in verbal and written forms.
Works with customers as needed to answer questions or resolve process related issues in a timely manner.
Process improvement projects
Willing to work in a clean room environment
Assist in the preparation of capital acquisition justifications as needed.
Order equipment and supplies as needed.
An Associate’s Degree from a two year college or technical school or equivalent experience is preferred, not required.
1-2 years experience and/or training in semiconductor assembly or environmental processes required.
Proficient in the full suite of Microsoft Office™ products - Excel, Word, Visio, Power Point.
Data analysis skills using statistical tools including Excel and other data analysis tools such as Minitab, JMP, and others preferred.
