Provides direction and specialist knowledge in applying the technology/application to client business. Facilitation of customer product/application understanding through presentations demonstrations and benchmarks; provision of support throughout the sell.

As a Principal Sales Consultant you will be responsible as the expert for formulating and leading presales technical / functional support activity to prospective clients and customers while ensuring customer satisfaction. Acts as a technical resource and mentor for less experienced Sales Consultants. Focuses on large or complex sales opportunities that need creative and complex solutions. Develops productivity tools and training for other Sales Consultants. Develops and delivers outstanding Oracle presentations and demonstrations. Leads any and all aspects of the technical sales process. Advises internal and external clients on overall architect solutions.

Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. 3 years vendor (sales and marketing) experience. 7 years business experience with relevant computer applications or database/tools. Ability to implement the most advanced product features. Thorough knowledge of system and application design. In depth knowledge of competitors. Demonstrated project management skills. Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills: needs analysis, positioning, business justification, closing techniques. Ability to persuade others through presentations, demonstrations, and written communication. Ability to travel as needed. A/BS degree or equivalent, advanced degree highly desirable.

As a Senior Pre-Sales Consultant you will be responsible for providing solution / functional support to prospective clients and customers while ensuring customer satisfaction with minimal supervision. You will also bethe thought leader for this organization, and leverage your deep product knowledge in applying Oracle s CRM Cloud capabilities to a prospective customer s business needs and be the driver of continual enhancements and innovation. Be able to develop and execute key compensation, planning and budgeting strategy for large, complex deals. Possess personal drive to configure and innovate upon core product demonstrations transforming customer demos into dynamic selling events. Specific functions include:

  • Acts as the CX SPM specialist for the suite of solutions supporting the field Sales Executives and manage the engagement team.

  • -{PS..0}->Perform as a key thought leader in Sales Performance Management, researching trends, participating in community events, building a strong network and driving social media communications.

  • Develop and deliver high quality standard Oracle presentations and demonstrations typically at VP level and above including executive board.

  • -{PS..1}->Present and articulate advanced business solutions tied to future direction and overall Oracle solutions.

  • Set innovative product direction and create cutting edge demonstrations for key customers and industries.

  • -{PS..2}->Design, validate, and present Oracle software solutions to include advanced product concepts, future direction, and 3rd party complimentary products.

  • Develop and manage reference sites through high quality technical, professional client relationships.

  • -{PS..3}->Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word Excel, and other presentation tools.

  • Expert in demonstration solutions, matching customer needs to solutions, and understanding the technical flow of data in the cloud.

  • -{PS..4}->Deep understanding of cloud technologies, deployment models, and solution value for managing incentives, territory management and quota management.

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

A passion for learning and leadership in Sales Performance Management. Ability to discuss key industry issues, overall CX solutions and technical aspects with multiple levels (C-Level to Functional Managers and IT); 6 years previous CRM implementation and consulting (pre-sales) experience in CRM solutions such as, Synygy, CallidusCloud, Anaplan, or Xactly. A history of selling to diverse leaders in multiple departments including IT, Operations and Finance. Excellent verbal and written communication skills and prior experience leading teams of people toward a common goal.
