NCMC-ITW/AA is composed of Air, Missile, and Space WarningMissions located at Cheyenne Mountain AFS, Peterson AFB, Offutt AFB,Vandenberg AFB, and forward user and sensor sites worldwide.Job Description: The selected candidate will be responsible for validating CADdetail design solutions for the system infrastructure (network, storage,and computing) for new and revised systems. The position will require detaildesign artifacts to be validated which includes drawings using CAD systems tovalidate design layouts, detail, interconnect and assembly drawings,wiring diagrams, parts list and other related documentation in conformanceto appropriate program and/or military specifications. The candidate mayhave to prepare specifications, drawings, procedures, and relatedengineering change orders. The candidate will also be expected to identify andcorrect design, model, or drawing errors/omissions/deficiencies andrecommend corrective actions or improvements and may assist in directingwork, assigning tasks and outlining activities.RequirementsClearance Requirements:Must have and be able to maintain and active Secret level Security ClearanceEducational Requirements:BS degree or 5 years of relevant experienceRequired Experience:Four (4) or more years of progressive technical/engineering experience with emphasis in mechanical design, analysis, and integrationExperience in drawing development and 3D modeling, utilizing software suchAutoCAD and/or CREOFamiliarity with Military and Commercial Drawing Standards, includingASME-Y14.100Experience in developing Interface Control Drawings, Cable AssemblyDrawings, Wiring Diagrams, Installation Drawings, and Rack ElevationDrawingsAbility to analyze engineering change requests to determinechanges/modifications needed to the drawing packageExperience reviewing documentation and conducting drawing checksCoordinate and communicate with members of engineering and management, toensure designs meet technical requirementsDemonstrated written and oral communication skills, including presentationskills.Experience in Hardware Engineering for the purpose of validating a physicaldatacenter rack layout against the drawing artifacts.Experience in working with PDM systems and possesses strong understanding of Configuration Management principlesDesired Skills:Experience with ITW/AA Communications System engineering, deployment andinstallation. Experience with engineering drawing applications and creationof contract specific documents (Reports, Site Preparation andInstallation Plan, briefing slides, etc.)Experienced in DoD communications system engineering and implementation ofmission critical capabilities.Technica
