BAE Systems Logistics Specialist in Colorado Springs, Colorado
BAE Systems is seeking a Senior Integrated Logistic Support (ILS) Engineer to support the Maintenance of Space Situational Awareness Integrated Capabilities (MOSSAIC) contract. The successful candidate will develop obsolescence management solutions, track customers critical parts and proactively monitor the enterprise to ensure there is significant time to mitigate any risks of obsolescence before impacts are realized. Coordinate the form, fit, and function solutions with program systems engineers and support the Programs Engineering Review Board process for Obsolescence Management tasks following the documented processes and procedures. Proactively asks for needed technical or procedural clarifications to enable completion of tasks on schedule. Candidate will coordinate the internal DMSMS processes, gathering input to develop, continuously monitor, and update an internal DMSMS Management Plan.
Controls the flow of material and assets from vendors to production and repair, and ultimately to customer or manufacturing sites. Oversees the execution and continuous improvement of all logistics processes and systems. Defines and develops logistics support requirements, plans and schedules; performs life cycle cost, reliability, maintainability and availability analyses. Performs testing and analyzes technical data and reports to determine ulate specific recommendations regarding spare/repair parts and support equipment. Ensures that milestones are achieved within existing financial constraints in order to adhere to master plans and schedules and maximize customer satisfaction. Builds relationships with manufacturing, suppliers, and customers through the resolution of delivery issues. Analyzes and provides input to drawing documentation and technical orders.
Typical Education & Experience
Typically a Bachelor's Degree and 4 years work experience or equivalent experience
Required Skills and Education
Requires proficient knowledge of job area typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience. May have practical knowledge of project management. Bachelor s Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience or two years post-Secondary/ Associates Degree and a minimum of eight years of prior related experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of two years of prior related experience.

Strong background in Microsoft Office Product Suites: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, Visio
Work independently as well as in a team environment
Self-motivated and detail-oriented
Good understanding of discipline process; information and data management
