Review programs/policies to ensure compliance with emerging or changing regulations. Consult with Facilties team to provide support and direction regarding Oracle's compliance. Conduct site audits. Responsible for tracking and reporting injury or illness to appropriate agencies and investigate to determine corrective actions. May provide EHS training to include development of training course.

Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. 8 years related experience. Knowledge of regulations and fire codes. Oracle seeks qualified Environment, Health, Safety (EHS) Program Managers to drive implementation and continuous monitoring of these programs, in furtherance of EHS policies in all our global regions.
As EHS leaders within Oracle, our team engages stakeholders across all operations in support of our phenomenally growing cloud business. Due to our success, we are hiring motivated, passionate Program Managers to join our EHS Team.
In the role of GOV and New Build EHS Program Manager, you will be responsible for EHS program development and implementation within OCI and other Oracle business-critical operations by supporting the Global EHS organization in reporting and communications for our ongoing initiatives. You will be providing advice and counsel to operations staff, conducting Facility Safety Assessments and Audits as well as organizing and participating in stakeholder and program engagement, developing and executing status reporting, and assisting with cross team communication and collaboration.
This role requires US-Top Secret Clearance.
A detail-oriented, key contributor to the Cloud EHS Team, working collaboratively across the organization and company with stakeholders and EHS peers across a multi-national setting toward EHS program implementation and continuous monitoring.
Excel in management of EHS projects in support of Oracle Cloud and associated projects within the Global EHS organization, developing and supporting EHS programs and policies at the global and local level.
Driven to analyze and integrate regulatory requirements for environmental, health and safety to ensure EHS program conformance for all Oracle Cloud Stakeholders.
Have or ability to attain with 3 months of hire date – US Top Secret Clearance
Degree or certificate in the field of Health & Safety, Environmental, Health & Safety, Environmental Engineering/Management, Industrial Hygiene, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years directly related professional experience.
Registration or Certifications as either: Professional Engineer (P.E.), Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Certified Health and Safety Manager (CSHM), Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH), or Associate Safety Professional (ASP) certification preferred or International Equivalent.
Working knowledge of Workplace Health & Safety/Environmental Regulatory Requirements in EMEA Region.
Strong knowledge of environment, health and safety regulations, and policies.
Ability and interest in researching and understanding specific code or regulatory language in order to maintain EHS compliance.
Excellent verbal and written skills and ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels, including external customers, and vendors. Strong English-language fluency required.
Superior stakeholder engagement skills to engage and contribute with multiple stakeholders is key.
Comfortable with developing and delivering presentations to internal and external stakeholders of all levels.
Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
Experience in resolving and managing EHS-related issues in a data center environment.
Ability to be a self-starter and work independently.
Strong project management skills (proven ability to manage a scope, schedule and budget).
Proficiency in Slack, Zoom, and Atlassian Suite.
