These tasks are conducted in accordancewith EH&S regulations as specified in federal, state and local laws andguidelines. The EH&S Supervisor is responsible for all Production, Qualityand EH&S internal and external audits in each operation and ensuresfacilitation of program objectives completion by providing clear, continuous diResponsibilitiesESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESThe following includes a list of primary responsibilities. Other duties may beassigned to meet various business requirements. * Compliance & Regulatory Reporting (i.e., Safety, Clean Air Act,Surface Contamination [Ground Water], Waste Water Management, etc.) * Manage environmental processes to ensure proper waste management andminimization practices in accordance with regulatory requirements. * Manage environmental processes throughout the plant site to ensure propersurface and ground water management (i.e. permitting, treatment, etc.). * Manage spill and contingency planning in compliance with regulations. * Manage environmental processes to assure permitted facilities are incompliance with the Clean Air Act and other regulatory requirements. * Respond to all customer related environmental requirements such as RoHS andREACH. * Manage SDS compliance and distribution program. * Creating & Driving a Safety Culture * Conduct safety audits and issue action items by department to improve ourwork environment. * Document Procedures and Work Instructions for Safety, Heat Treat, WasteWater, Plating, etc. * Lead employees and management safety meetings and awareness. * Promote employee participation in developing a safe work environmentthrough identification and submission of potential safety issues. * Maintain records of all accidents and near miss reports, including losstime and restricted duty logs. * Coordinate all aspects of safety and OSHA training programs including butnot limited to Haz-Mat and Lock-Out/Tag-Out procedures. * Drive Industry Best Practices and associated cost savingsQualificationsQUALIFICATIONSMust possess a Bachelor s degree in Environmental Science or related fieldalong with 7-10 years related experience. Expert knowledge of environmentalindustry trends and EH&S regulations as specified in federal, state andlocal laws and guidelines.Related experience must include implementation of 5S programs, proactiveapproach to identifying and resolving EH&S process or equipment issues,and support of systematic internal and external change control procedures.Also requires a strong capability to interpret work procedures, governmentallaws and regulations.EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE * B.S. in Environmental Science or Engineering is required(Chemical/Industrial Engineering preferred) * 7 - 10 years of relevant industry experienceSKILLS and ABILITIES * Ability to read, write, and interpret work process procedures,customer reports, and general business correspondence and technic
