KBR Engineering Technician in Colorado Springs, Colorado
KBR is seeking to hire an Engineering Technician to provide timely, cost effective, quality services in support of modernizing the Satellite Control Network. This candidate will be required to perform a variety of defined technical tasks. Under direct supervision these tasks may include installation, testing and minor repairs of equipment. Other job duties may include:
Duties and Responsibilities:
Build cables and chassis assemblies per IPC/WHMA-A-620
Read blueprints, wiring diagrams, schematic drawings, and build instructions for assembling and testing cables, chassis and rack builds.
Follows Installation Orders for decommissions and installation of major units of equipment.
Conducts tests of installed system/equipment using various types of instruments.
Performs preventative maintenance on systems.
The skills required for this job are typically acquired through 1+ year of experience.
Prefer IPC/WHMA-A-620 certification
Must be a U.S. Citizen
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret level security clearance
Up to 60% travel required

The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.
