Oracle Data Center Audit and Contract Manager in Colorado Springs, Colorado

Plan and direct resource schedules as well as project budgets. Monitor the product/program/project from initiation through delivery, interfacing with customer on technical matters. Organize interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the product/program/project on schedule and within budget constraints. Assign and monitor work of systems analysis and program staff, providing technical support and direction. Select, develop, and evaluate personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.

Leads a specialized area which may have diverse functional elements. Frequently interacts with supervisors and/or functional peer group managers. May interact with senior management. Demonstrated leadership and people management skills. Strong communication skills, analytical skills, thorough understanding of product development and product management. BS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. Prefer one year of project management, product design or related experience.

We are specifically looking for anAudit andCompliance Managerto join the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Group in Seattle. You will be responsible for owning the scaled development and further implementation of compliance programs as governed by the OCI Governance Risk and Compliance (GRC) organization.

The candidate will be responsible and own the oversight of OCI’s audit and compliance program in the Datacenter Services (DCS) space.

The Audit and Compliance Program Manager will manage the global Oracle Commercial and Public sector audits and compliance programs for Data Center Services. The Audit and Compliance Manager will be responsible for managing and further development of the continuous monitoring for compliance frameworks, assessment program, and change management for Data Center Services.

This role will identify requirements for Data Center Services and other service teams to inform the creation of operational processes and procedures to meet regulatory and customer requirements, and drive operational excellence across the frameworks. This role will identify and assign their team to develop and initiate projects, develop integrated workflows to monitor the health of controls and compliance, and own the data center assessment program. The role will also identify and make informed risk management recommendations to senior leadership. This position will manage evidence collection, manage documentation, generate system security plan and control language implementation, and identify and track all gaps. Will foster and nurture trusted relationships with GRC, internal Data Center Services teams to gain approvals for strategies, recommendations, findings, project plans, develop organizational roadmaps.

Key Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To

  • Manage a team of embedded compliance specialists in the Data Center Services team.

  • Establish rhythm of the business reporting on regulatory, sector specific compliance metrics to Data Center Services (DCS) executive management and OCI Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) stakeholders for all global OCI data centers.

  • Understanding the role of an auditor, the definition of a high quality audit and an understanding of expectations of all parties involved in an external audit.

  • Facilitate the audit, review and assessment of key processes and controls.

  • Maintain a centralized global audit register and calendar for OCI DCS.

  • Manage DCS’ relationship and Operational Level Agreement with GRC team.

  • Lead the Internal Audit IT Risk Assessment process and provide input to a risk-based audit plan globally.

  • Development of global audit dashboards for all regions of OCI data centers.

  • Responsible for implementation of global DCS audit plan and communication with all DCS control owners.

  • Manage external global audit support program to ensure efficient execution and effective collaboration with GRC and external auditors to assess all OCI data centers.

  • Emphasis on the strategy, processes and controls necessary for an IT organization to provide operational support, systems, and security to meet business objectives.

  • Provide leadership in identifying opportunities to improve business processes and IT operations making recommendations to the audit team and to the relevant management teams.

  • CISA, CISSP, or PMP preferred

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • 5 years of project / program management experience

  • 5 years of audit / compliance experience

  • Understanding of IT/Cloud auditing and controls, preferably with FedRAMP, SOX, SSAE 18 - SOC1 & SOC2, PCI, NIST, DIACAP, ISO 27001 & ISO 27002

  • Understanding and experience with ICD 705 and ICD 503

  • Understanding of data center physical security, design, access management, asset management, and operations

  • Experience in developing dashboards and defining metrics

  • Experience with Project Management Tools and Software

  • Strong working knowledge of Cloud IT processes and Cloud IT infrastructure

  • Proven ability to influence & gain buy-in at multiple levels, across divisions, functions and cultures; comfort working with executive level management

  • Ability to prioritize, manage, and deliver on multiple projects simultaneously; highly motivated and able to work against aggressive schedules

  • Strong bias toward action, flexible, resourceful, and able to operate effectively within a dynamic, fast-paced environment

  • Superior communication skills (interpersonal, verbal, presentation written, email)

Qualification preferred:
