Kratos Technology and Training Solutions Cyber Sales Engineer in Colorado Springs, Colorado

Helping leading-edge technology companiessecure their infrastructure is at the core of what we do and we make adifferenAs a member of the Kratos Sales Engineering team you will be supporting a teamof Cyber Security professionals working to evaluate and secure innovativesolutions in support of government and commercial customers.Your role will be to partner with the sales team to capture the needs ofpotential customers and facilitate the development of security consulting andassessment services. You will collaborate with Kratos Security Team leadershipto estimate and develop quotes and proposals.The successful candidate will have a background and interest in the cybersecurity industry, possess strong communications skills, be capable ofidentifying business requirements and documenting customer needs. Informationassurance and security compliance experience is strongly desired.Daily activities will include the following: requirements discussions,client presentations, solution documentation, solution design, andproposal support. Active listening techniques, solid communication skills(written and verbal) and the ability to organize information in astructured and collaborative manner are must haves.Responsibilities:Prepare and present technical sales material to potential customers.Properly describe the capabilities and values of services offered.Support Sales Account Managers during customer meetings.Support level of effort scoping by soliciting relevant information frompotential customers in terms of security compliance requirements and systemcomplexity.Support proposal efforts as needed: RFI (Request For Information) andRFP (Request For Proposal).Provide technical liaison/support to *potential customers.Document interactions and provide timely and accurate responses to inquiriesfrom potential customers.Potential support for trade shows or other marketing events.Utilize time management and planning processes in order to fully maximizesales-support effectiveness during the sales process.Ability to juggle multiple priorities/projects and pivot quickly to meethigh priority needs.May occasionally be asked to assist with the creation of customer casestudies, integration of white papers, and other documentation as requiredfor internal and external use.Provide feedback to management regarding perceived customer needs and industrytrends.Assist and collaborate with teammates in order to achieve bookings objectives.Keyword: Customer Relationship Management (CRM), Sales Engineering,Cyber, CISSP, CEH, CAP, Security +, GSEC, NIST 800, Bachelor*sdegree IT Computer Science, MicrosoftRequired Experience:Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal with strongpresentation skills.Bachelor*s degree in IT, Computer Science or relevant discipline, orrelevant work experience.Knowledge of *NIST 800 series guidelines (800-30, 800-37, 800-53 and53A, 800-60, 800-171 etc.) security controls, practices, and procedures..General understanding of networks, protocols, security configurations,cryptography, identity and access management, and the systems developmentlife cycle.Ability to understand the architectural design concepts for isolating thesystems that process, store, or transmit Controlled UnclassifiedInformation (CUI), and that provide security protection for thosecomponents at both the physical and logical layers.Understanding of security tool sets such as: Anti Malware Tools,Vulnerability Scanning, SPAM Filters, SIEM Log and Collection Tools, DNSFiltering Tools, Inventory Scanning Tools, Port Scanning Tools,Intrusion Detection and Prevention Systems, Network Packet Capture,Wireless Intrusion Detection Tools and how these tools are used to meet thestringent requirements set forth by the US and foreign governments.Ability to translate technical materials and issues intonon-technical/layman terms.Demonstrated skills in the entire Microsoft
