Qualified individuals must be flexible, self-motivated, hardworking and capable of working on a program, as it moves through the system lifecycle phases of development, testing and deployment, while also performing sustainment and modification associated tasks on the Ballistic Missile Early Warning System (BMEWS), PAVE Passive Array Warning System (PAWS). ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Conducts technical analysis of product implementations, modifications and enhancements to product in accordance with specific customer specifications and implementations. Troubleshoots technical problems and issues, determines technical solution in accordance with product and customer specifications, and recommends actions to company or customer representatives for coordinative product solution. Assesses product needs in accordance with customer specifications. Conducts technical training and product briefing with customers, vendors and company representatives. Analyzes engineering specifications and drawings; confers with quality, material, manufacturing and subcontractors to provide and obtain technical information; and reviews production schedules and orders. Examines, measures, inspects or tests defective parts for conformance. Evaluates findings to formulate corrective actionsKnowledge, Skills and Ability: General frequent use and application of technical standards, principles, theories, concepts and techniques. Demonstrates the skill and ability to perform moderately complex professional tasks.Problem Solving: Provides solutions to a variety of technical problems of increasing scope and complexity as assigned. Represents theorganization in providing solutions to difficult technical issues associated with specificprojectsPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE
Familiarity with radar systems and concepts
Experience with interpreting and redlining engineering drawings
Experience interpreting cable lists and reference designations
Experience with installation and troubleshooting of HW equipment
Ability to travel between 10 and 25% of the year
Ability to work independently with multi-disciplined teams within the program
- Active DoD Secret Clearance
- High School Diploma or GED & 2 yrs experience in related technical field. Bachelor?s Degree in hard science & 1 year experience
