Lockheed Martin System Engineer (Early Career) - Requirements and Verification in Centennial, Colorado

Learn about the Trident II D5 Fleet Ballistic Missile. As a Systems Engineer for Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) , you will:

Perform technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and efficiency analyses for total systems—analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal

Ensure the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints

Perform functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications

Work across systems engineering lifecycle in support of requirement development, requirement validation, verification planning, and requirement verification.

Supports multiple experimental and developmental projects and programs.

Basic Qualifications:

• Familiarity with the systems engineering lifecycle

• Familiarity with requirement definition, allocation, validation, and/or verification

• Familiarity with requirement management software

• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Top Secret security clearance

Desired Skills:

• Experience with DOORS

• Demonstrated basic understanding of systems thinking skills and behaviors

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong social skills, and ability to build solid relationships with team members

• Desire to learn and apply new tools and techniques

• Familiarity with MBSE execution and analysis tools

• Active DoD Top Secret Clearance
